Artist Augustė Daškevičiūtė was born in 1992 in Kaunas. She has been actively creating since 2020, participating in painting plein airs and group exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.

“Painting is the transformation of emotions into colors, movements, gestures, and forms. In abstraction, I sometimes long for something more tangible, recognizable, and grounding. Most often - a puddle or a lake, which reflect the multilayered sensitivities of existence. For me, painting is a constant search. It helps me to see, to understand, to get lost in discoveries, and then to realize once again that I know nothing.” the artist shares.

They connect and overlap. It feels lively and full of energy. The style is abstract, with no clear forms. It invites you to imagine and feel. Daškevičiūtė uses color and movement to create depth.
