Our main goal is to help you find the one artwork that truly fits and delights you — it is an object that will decorate your home for a long time and will eventually be passed on to future generations.

Although by law works of art cannot be returned (the seller's consent is required), don't worry — if you have doubts within 30 days of the purchase date, contact us: we will take the work back and refund your money, or offer you to choose another one from our art platform!

Diana Timonina

All artworks

Diana Timonina is an artist whose life has always been closely connected to creativity and art. Surrounded by creative people from an early age, she attended both an art school and an art studio during her formative years. Her enduring appreciation for visual aesthetics ultimately led her to pursue architecture, a field that remains her main profession and continues to inspire her artistic work.

For a time, Diana set aside drawing and painting to focus on other interests, causing her hands-on involvement with art to wane. This hiatus lasted until about five years ago. Amid the routines of motherhood, she rekindled her passion for art. Returning to her paints and brushes marked a turning point for Diana; she found herself drawn to watercolour, enchanted by its delicacy, clarity, and spontaneous nature.

Klaipėda, the city where Diana was born, occupies a special place in her affections and frequently appears as a motif in her art. She discovers inspiration and beauty in the scenes of Klaipėda, its lively port, and the peaceful coastline. The local landscapes often feature in her paintings, revealing her profound attachment to the place she calls home.

Travel is another powerful influence on Diana’s creativity. The encounters and impressions she gathers from journeys across the globe regularly shape her artistic vision. She considers herself fortunate to be able to infuse her art with the inspiration drawn from travel, transforming scenes and memories from distant places into vivid watercolours.

About this artwork+

The painting depicts a serene maritime scene under a vast, soft blue sky streaked with wispy clouds. In the foreground, a cluster of rough, concrete tetrapods lines the edge of the water, their uneven, robust shapes pointing towards the sea, enhancing the coastal defense. The sea itself shimmers with a gentle ripple, reflecting the clear sky above and hinting at the vast, open waters. Prominently positioned in the middle of the composition is a large barge equipped with a towering crane, suggesting ongoing maritime operations or construction. Near the horizon, another ship can be seen, contributing to the busy yet calm maritime activity. The overall mood is peaceful, capturing a moment of daily life on the water where human intervention intersects quietly with the natural environment.
