Since childhood, drawing has captivated me; even my math and other school notebooks were always covered with various sketches—much to the dismay of my teachers, who rarely praised me for it. After completing my art studies, I became a professional artist, but after a few years, life led me away from the heart of the art world.
During this lengthy period away from my artistic path, I constantly reassured myself that I would one day return. Now, that time has come, and I find myself once again immersed in creativity and the world of art.
The artist has held several solo exhibitions and takes part in group exhibitions both in Lithuania and abroad. Through these events, the public has had opportunities to experience and appreciate a distinctive artistic vision developed over many years.

About this artwork+
The artwork presents an ethereal landscape dominated by a tranquil body of water. Subtle gradations of gray, blue, and soft white create a serene, misty effect across the canvas. The horizon is barely discernible, blurred between the sky and the water, enhancing the sense of infinite calm. Near the centre, darker patches suggest a distant shoreline or cluster of trees, their forms reflected imperfectly in the water, giving a dreamlike quality to the scene. Light, possibly filtering through a haze or reflected off the water, forms ambiguous shapes that dance gently across the painting. The overall mood is one of quiet isolation and peaceful reflection.
