Artwork in the room
Since childhood, drawing has captivated me; even my math and other school notebooks were always covered with various sketches—much to the dismay of my teachers, who rarely praised me for it. After completing my art studies, I became a professional artist, but after a few years, life led me away from the heart of the art world.
During this lengthy period away from my artistic path, I constantly reassured myself that I would one day return. Now, that time has come, and I find myself once again immersed in creativity and the world of art.

About this artwork+
In this painting titled "Source" by Egidijus Dapšas, the color palette is dominated by various shades of pale blue and white, interspersed with moments of deeper blues and subtle grays. The composition is largely abstract with an ethereal, almost fluid quality that mimics the appearance of water or mist. The brushstrokes are blended and overlaid, creating a textured surface that suggests depth and movement. There are vertical streaks that evoke the sense of rain or cascading water, while the areas of darker blue and gray add a sense of groundedness or shadow to the airy lightness of the whites and light blues. The painting has a calming, serene atmosphere, conveying both a sense of spaciousness and enigma.
