Since childhood, drawing has captivated me; even my math and other school notebooks were always covered with various sketches—much to the dismay of my teachers, who rarely praised me for it. After completing my art studies, I became a professional artist, but after a few years, life led me away from the heart of the art world.
During this lengthy period away from my artistic path, I constantly reassured myself that I would one day return. Now, that time has come, and I find myself once again immersed in creativity and the world of art.
The artist has held several solo exhibitions and takes part in group exhibitions both in Lithuania and abroad. Through these events, the public has had opportunities to experience and appreciate a distinctive artistic vision developed over many years.
Works by Egidijus Dapšas have also found their way to private art collectors both in Lithuania and internationally. This growing interest among collectors speaks to the recognition and appreciation received at home and beyond.

The painting features a bold, abstract composition segmented into distinct areas of color and texture. The top portion is dominated by a chaotic, textured white and gray area, possibly representing a frantic, mechanical, or digital world. Visually, it suggests a turbulent sea of data or debris, giving a sense of depth and complexity. A striking feature of the painting is the vertical white bar that descends from the chaotic texture into the calmer lower half, almost like a data stream or a syringe injecting into the lower layers.
