Vaidas Bakutis, born in 1962 in Lithuania, is a self-taught artist with around two decades of painting experience. His exploration of art unfolded naturally, as painting became an instinctive activity rather than a conscious decision. It grew into a vital aspect of his existence, offering him a rewarding avenue for personal expression.
Bakutis predominantly uses oil paints, utilizing both alla prima and layering techniques throughout his artistic practice.
