I am a visual artist whose primary form of expression is painting. I studied at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where I completed both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Painting. At the core of my work lies an emotional relationship with the environment and its reflections in color and form. I am interested in visual experiences where reality and interpretation merge and fragments of everyday life acquire symbolic weight.

My works often emerge from observing nature – the vibrations of light, the structures of plants, or organic patterns. These become metaphors for human inner experiences, our relationship with the world and with ourselves. I am drawn to the balance between calmness and tension, between clear form and abstraction. Most of my practice is rooted in painting, where I experiment with the intensity of color, layering, and texture.

I use neon and other office-style markers in painting as tools that act less as color and more as gesture – a highlight. By emphasizing fragments of nature, I invite the viewer to pause, to look closely, and not to simply pass by.

My art is an invitation to an inner journey, where color, form, and emotion become a universal language that opens spaces for dialogue with the viewer.

About this artwork+

The painting displays a dense and wild jungle scene rendered in varied shades of blue. Lush foliage dominates the composition, with palm leaves and ferns interlacing in a natural tangle. Several small, rectangular patches of bright pink are scattered throughout the dense thicket, providing a stark, vivid contrast to the cool blue tones. The abstract style allows each brushstroke to visibly contribute to the overall texture, creating a sense of depth and vibrancy within the confines of the jungle-inspired motif. The overall effect is both dynamic and serene, evoking the untamed beauty of a tropical forest.
