Artwork in the room
The artist from Lithuania, Kaunas creates paintings centered on realistically depicted natural landscapes while exploring new and distinctive approaches to representation through stylization and abstraction, conveying the diversity of nature. Nature remains the artist’s primary source of inspiration; within it, she seeks silence, light, subtle color transitions, and fleeting moments that often escape the everyday gaze. Each painting invites a pause—a slowing of the gaze and an act of attentive looking. Within this stillness emerge a sense of calm and spaciousness, alongside an awareness of nature’s continuous change.

About this artwork+
This painting is vibrant and lively. It shows an apple tree, full of life and color. The branches twist and turn. Leaves are painted in shades of green. Red apples pop against the foliage. The blue sky peeks through the branches. The piece feels joyful and bright. Colors blend and contrast, creating movement. Daiva Nevardauskienė uses a unique style. It's a mix of abstraction and expressionism. Bold brush strokes and geometric shapes are prominent. The painting captures the essence of childhood memories. It's both playful and nostalgic.
