The artist from Lithuania, Kaunas creates paintings centered on realistically depicted natural landscapes while exploring new and distinctive approaches to representation through stylization and abstraction, conveying the diversity of nature. Nature remains the artist’s primary source of inspiration; within it, she seeks silence, light, subtle color transitions, and fleeting moments that often escape the everyday gaze. Each painting invites a pause—a slowing of the gaze and an act of attentive looking. Within this stillness emerge a sense of calm and spaciousness, alongside an awareness of nature’s continuous change.
