Benas Liandzbergis 2022 finished Master's studies at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, Dept. of Embedded Art (formerly Fresco/Mosaic).

"Creativity is a constant transformation with which I change as well, so the works are very diverse. In the works, I use irony, sarcasm, and paradoxes as my main tools, although one should not get attached to these words. I ask questions about myself, society, our collective choices and how they affect us in the long run. I also record personal experiences that happened or are happening, looking for fragments of everyday life."

About this artwork+

This painting by Benas Liandzbergis is lively and vivid. Two figures stand out. They look almost like shadows. Their bodies are covered in swirling red and black patterns. The sky is full of large, twisting clouds. Bright patches of blue peek through. Below them, dark green shapes suggest trees or hills. The ground is brown with hints of white, maybe snow. The figures seem to leap or dance. The style is bold and abstract. It uses contrasting colors. Liandzbergis plays with form and motion. The painting feels dynamic and energetic. It's intriguing and open to interpretation.
