Benas Liandzbergis 2022 finished Master's studies at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, Dept. of Embedded Art (formerly Fresco/Mosaic).

"Creativity is a constant transformation with which I change as well, so the works are very diverse. In the works, I use irony, sarcasm, and paradoxes as my main tools, although one should not get attached to these words. I ask questions about myself, society, our collective choices and how they affect us in the long run. I also record personal experiences that happened or are happening, looking for fragments of everyday life."

About this artwork+

This painting shows a zebra walking in front of a modern building. The building has a simple, geometric design with large windows. The grass around is a bright green, and the sky is clear blue. The zebra is detailed against the simple background. Benas Liandzbergis uses a clean, bold style. Lines are sharp and colors are solid. It feels both real and surreal. The contrast between the zebra and the building grabs attention. The title, "Tunnel Vision II," suggests a focused view. The painting blends reality with imagination.
