Benas Liandzbergis 2022 finished Master's studies at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, Dept. of Embedded Art (formerly Fresco/Mosaic).
"Creativity is a constant transformation with which I change as well, so the works are very diverse. In the works, I use irony, sarcasm, and paradoxes as my main tools, although one should not get attached to these words. I ask questions about myself, society, our collective choices and how they affect us in the long run. I also record personal experiences that happened or are happening, looking for fragments of everyday life."
About this artwork+
This painting by Benas Liandzbergis is titled "From the Poet's Diaries." It shows a quiet street. The buildings on either side have bright colors like green and pink. Shadows of streetlights and flowers stretch across the scene. The sky is a soft blue. The road bends slightly, drawing your eyes forward. Liandzbergis uses bold colors and simple shapes. The style is minimal but striking. Everything has clear, defined lines. It feels calm yet vivid. The artwork captures a moment of reflection. It's like stepping into a quiet poem.
