Over time, she has cultivated a distinctive style and artistic voice of her own. Now based in the Lithuanian town of Utena, Aurina continues to pursue her creative journey and develop her artistic viewpoint.

For Aurina, painting holds profound personal significance. She regards it as both art therapy and a means of achieving freedom through the act of self-expression. Each painting becomes a visual journal—an honest record in which she conveys her ideas, feelings, and emotions using striking colors and expressive lines. Through this process, she explores and communicates her inner life.

In her artistic perspective, Aurina perceives the world as if it were part of a fairy tale, suffused with kindness, happiness, and light. The motif she revisits most frequently is the figure of a woman, whom she finds to be endlessly intriguing and enigmatic. This theme continues to shape the stories and imagery she creates in her artwork.

Aurina’s works are distinguished by their emotional depth and authenticity. Her paintings draw viewers in with mesmerizing colors and a fearless imagination, while also displaying great care for details and decorative features. Her passion for decorative art is apparent in every piece, turning each work into a singular and vivid expression of her artistic vision.

About this artwork+

The painting depicts a woman seemingly integrated with nature, her expression serene and contemplative. She is surrounded and partially obscured by tall, lush irises, their delicate white and yellow blooms cascading around her like a natural curtain. The woman's attire merges with the flora, featuring a bodice that simulates the texture of wheat sheaves against a soft, pastel background. Ornate, pearlescent beads adorn her neckline, adding a touch of elegance. Her skirt appears almost ethereal, adorned with patterns that suggest light filtering through foliage. Small, whimsical insects are scattered throughout the scene, enhancing the painting’s magical, otherworldly atmosphere. The overall effect is one of harmony and tranquil beauty, capturing a moment where the natural world and human presence are intimately intertwined.
