About this artwork+

In this triangular painting, a fantastical architecture takes center stage, etched against a radiant blue sky. The structure, reminiscent of a castle, combines various elements of classical and medieval architectures with whimsical, dreamlike touches. It features a predominately sandy color palette with accents of white, imbuing the construction with an almost ethereal presence that matches the surreal environment. A prominent clock on the tower suggests a theme of time or eternity. Beside the majestic structure, there is an expansive body of water that reflects the castle and the sky above. Adding to the otherworldly feel, a large, textured moon or planet looms in the background, occupying a significant portion of the sky and casting a gentle light on the scene. Below, the ground has a rough texture, and there appears to be a rail track leading towards the castle, suggesting movement or travel, perhaps to this 'lost world'. The environment is serene, evoking a sense of isolation and mystery, inviting the viewer to ponder the stories that might unfold in such a captivating setting.
