About this artwork+

The painting presents a vibrant, elongated canvas divided into two primary sections. At the top, the section is dominated by warm hues—red, orange, and yellow, depicting abstract swirling patterns that suggest celestial or sky-like forms, possibly clouds illuminated by the sun or a fiery atmosphere. The lower section transitions into cooler blues and darker tones, forming a stark visual contrast. Here, stylized figures of birds, depicted in gold and outlined with thick black lines, appear to be in flight, soaring amidst a complex labyrinth of geometric and linear shapes resembling a cityscape or abstract terrains. The interaction between the natural forms of the birds and the structured, urban-like environment around them creates a dynamic composition. The use of gold against the deep blues not only highlights the birds as central elements but also adds a sense of preciousness and focus within the cooler landscape. The overall effect is a vivid visual narrative of freedom and movement, captured within the confines of abstract forms and contrasting colors.
