Rolana Čečkauskaitė likens her creative process to filmmaking—she crafts characters, imagines their adventures, and envisions their actions and dialogues, often centering her work on the dynamics between a man and a woman. Beyond painting, Rolana Čečkauskaitė is recognized for her work in ceramics as well. Born in Šiauliai, Lithuania, she attended the M. K. Čiurlionis Art School and earned her degree from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. As a member of the Artists' Union, she has exhibited in over 65 solo shows and more than 200 group exhibitions, both in Lithuania and internationally. Her contributions have been formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania with a Letter of Gratitude, and she has been officially designated an Artist by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
