About this artwork+

This painting by Vladimiras Jarmolo brings a beautiful forest scene to life. A path stretches away through the trees, covered in a blanket of orange and brown leaves. The forest is dense, with thin, tall trees reaching up. Their leaves are touched with the hues of autumn. The light, perhaps of an early morning or late afternoon, casts a warm glow. It seems to emanate from the background, flooding the scene with a golden light that illuminates the forest and the path in a magical way. Vladimiras Jarmolo's style here is quite realistic with a dreamy quality. The play of light and shadow gives the forest depth and a sense of mystery. The light beckons viewers, leading them along the path further into the warmth of the forest. Overall, the artwork is peaceful. It invites contemplation. It's easy to feel as if you could step into the canvas and wander down that leaf-strewn path, towards the glowing light.
