Every painting you buy in our gallery is an original work of art. With every painting we sell you receive a certificate of authenticity, which guarantees that you are buying a work by that specific artist.

Please note that buying a painting does not transfer its copyright — you do not acquire the right to use the artwork commercially, for example to copy it or produce reproductions.

30-day return guarantee

Our main goal is to help you find the one artwork that truly fits and delights you — it is an object that will decorate your home for a long time and will eventually be passed on to future generations.

Although by law works of art cannot be returned (the seller's consent is required), don't worry — if you have doubts within 30 days of the purchase date, contact us: we will take the work back and refund your money, or offer you to choose another one from our art platform!

Delivery

Delivery time: 10–14 business days. Every artwork ships insured by courier (FedEx/DHL) with a tracking number. Originals are one-off pieces and are packed with particular care. If you need the piece sooner, contact us — we can usually find a solution. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties may apply; these are borne by the recipient.

Returns

As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods — no reasons needed. Details and the model withdrawal form are in our withdrawal notice (linked in the footer). Beyond that, as a courtesy we accept returns up to 30 days after receipt — an artwork should truly delight you. Contact us and we will find a solution.

Robertas Strazdas

All artworks

Robertas Strazdas is an up-and-coming artist who is currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. His formal education serves as a solid base for his artistic development, enabling him to continually sharpen his skills and explore new creative directions.

Strazdas draws inspiration for his paintings from his immediate environment. Attentively observing the world around him, he “borrows” select details that intrigue him. These elements, which often hold an ambiguous personal meaning, gradually reveal their relevance as his work progresses. The figures in his paintings are usually shown experiencing moments of everyday melancholy, absorbed in quiet contemplation without any rush or haste.

Open to exploration, Strazdas does not restrict himself to a particular technique or set of materials. His natural inclination toward experimentation drives him to discover a variety of ways to express himself artistically. His works frequently combine oil, acrylic, spray paint, and markers, giving each piece a distinct visual character. Sometimes, these media are blended within a single painting, producing a fusion of traditional easel techniques and the dynamic qualities of street art.

Bold figurative compositions define most of Strazdas’s art, often featuring wide fields of unbroken color. Marked contour lines and a vibrant palette with strong contrasts set his paintings apart. By uniting these elements, Strazdas crafts energetic visual stories that fuse varied artistic influences and invite the viewer into a space of reflection.

About this artwork+

In the painting "Grimaces of Life" by Robertas Strazdas, you see a humorous and intriguing depiction of a person standing on their hands. Their legs are bent upward, and their feet are positioned like hands below their nose. This creates an amusing human face where the feet act as eyes and the actual face appears like a playful mask. The painting bursts with creativity and playfulness. Strazdas uses bold, solid colors predominantly blue and gray, which give the piece a strong visual impact. The strokes are loose and expressive, adding a dynamic and somewhat raw character to the work. There's text scattered around that appears playful and adds to the whimsy of the painting. Robertas Strazdas's style here is very expressive and cartoonish, emphasizing fun and the lighter side of life through an unusual visual narrative. The artwork makes you look twice and keeps you intrigued, making it a delightful piece to explore.
