About this artwork+
The painting displays a serene scene centered around a boat gently resting on calm, reflective waters. The boat, adorned with a vibrant blue top, contrasts sharply with the softer hues of its surroundings. Multiple fenders hang along its side, ensuring protection, and subtle details suggest its readiness for a journey. The water itself is depicted in varying shades of green and blue, beautifully capturing the light and shadows cast by the boat. Rippling reflections disperse across the water’s surface, mirroring fragments of the boat’s color and form, contributing to an overall atmosphere of tranquil maritime stillness.
