30-day return guarantee
Our main goal is to help you find the one artwork that truly fits and delights you — it is an object that will decorate your home for a long time and will eventually be passed on to future generations.
Although by law works of art cannot be returned (the seller's consent is required), don't worry — if you have doubts within 30 days of the purchase date, contact us: we will take the work back and refund your money, or offer you to choose another one from our art platform!
Delivery
Delivery time: 10–14 business days. Every artwork ships insured by courier (FedEx/DHL) with a tracking number. Originals are one-off pieces and are packed with particular care. Returns
As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods — no reasons needed. Details and the model withdrawal form are in our withdrawal notice (linked in the footer). Beyond that, as a courtesy we accept returns up to 30 days after receipt — an artwork should truly delight you. Contact us and we will find a solution.
Artwork in the room
Irena Kavaliauskienė is an artist whose passion for drawing has accompanied her throughout her entire life. Like many others, she started making art as a child and continued to cultivate this interest into adulthood. Although she initially pursued a career in a field unrelated to art or creativity, her enduring love of drawing ultimately guided her toward a formal education in art.
She decided to attend the Justinas Vienožinskis Art School, a step that played a crucial role in developing her artistic abilities. For three years, Irena dedicated her evenings to enhancing her skills, working persistently with pencils, paintbrushes, and pens. Her dedication enabled her to polish her technique and delve deeper into her creative capabilities.
Character illustration, with an emphasis on animals, is now the primary focus of Irena’s artistry. She perceives each illustration as a story, encouraging viewers to discover their own interpretations of the narratives suggested by her work. Employing a variety of drawing techniques, she finds particular satisfaction in using dry pastel, colored pencils, and charcoal.
Irena’s creative progress has earned public acknowledgment, including several exhibitions held in Vilnius and Trakai. Through these public showings, Irena Kavaliauskienė continues to share her unique perspective and passion for storytelling through visual art.
About this artwork+
The painting displays a whimsical cat depicted with exaggerated, wild fur in shades of white and gray, befitting of a charismatic yet slightly grumpy feline. Its striking, piercing yellow eyes gaze directly at the viewer, lending an intense and somewhat knowing look that feels almost judgmental. Resting one paw gently on a wooden table, it appears to effortlessly balance a small wooden guitar, further adding to its enigmatic aura. Nearby, a white ceramic cup filled with coffee sits on a saucer, suggesting a moment of pause in what might be a chaotic or fantastical daily existence for this unusual creature. The background is muted and nondescript, focusing attention entirely on the cat and its immediate surroundings.
