Inga Stacinskė's artistic world brings together humanity, nature, and imagination. Birds, animals, water, trees, and motifs inspired by historical textiles become a symbolic language that speaks of memory, freedom, longing, and the human connection with nature.

Balancing between reality and dream, her paintings present nature not as a backdrop, but as an equal participant in the narrative. Female figures, animals, and landscapes reflect inner states, emotions, and personal stories, while leaving space for the viewer's own interpretation.

In recent years, a special place in the artist's work has been devoted to compositions inspired by historical textiles, museum garments, and drapery. These elements intertwine with the natural world, creating a distinctive and recognizable visual language.

The artist works primarily in oil, often employing glazing techniques that build luminous layers of light, transparency, and atmosphere.

"Art must first capture the eye, and then remain in the soul."

About this artwork+

This vivid painting captures a rich and dynamic still life where nature and wildlife meet with an opulent flair. At the center is a large, alert hare with pronounced ears, positioned beside an abundant assortment of vibrant vegetables including red and yellow bell peppers, red beetroot, white and purple carrots, and leafy greens, all nested in a classic, overflowing bowl. To the left of the hare, a lush, detailed pheasant lies gracefully on the draped blue fabric, adding a wild elegance to the composition. Adjacent to the vegetables stands a stately rooster, its plumage white and tail feathers striking, commanding attention with its bold stance. In the background, against a dark fabric adorned with elegant gold patterns, rests a vase filled with slender stalks of lavender, enhancing the rustic charm of the scene. On the draped fabric in the foreground are scattered various fruits and berries, including a halved apricot, raspberries, and a small pile of red currants, adding a touch of delicate sweetness to the tableau. The interplay of wildlife and bountiful produce, set against the rich backdrop, creates a lively yet harmonious composition, celebrating the beauty and bounty of the natural world.
