About this artwork+

At the center of this artwork is a large symmetrical motif surrounded by intricate floral patterns and scrolling designs. These patterns are rendered in a white or light color that stands out against a darker, possibly stained background that has hues of deep blue and some areas of brown. The light source from behind the panel casts a luminous glow around the edges and through the thinner areas of the glass, enhancing the contrast and visibility of the artwork. Notably, the reflections of the photographer's shoes are visible at the bottom of the panel, adding a spontaneous and personal touch to the otherwise static and stylized depiction.
