Gediminas Endriekus (b. 1982) is an artist whose creative path evokes the image of a medieval jongleur—an itinerant performer adept at music and drama. Music profoundly shaped his early years, playing a vital part in his life before he immersed himself fully in the visual arts. Hailing from Plungė, Endriekus studied at the Academy of Arts in Telšiai and currently lives in Vilnius. His artistic approach draws heavily from a rich imagination and the unrestrained flow of his subconscious. Inspiration arises from dreams, childhood visions, and the mystical aura of Samogitian church altars and their ornate decorations.
