All of Gabrielė Prišmantaitė's (born in 1990) paintings have one thing in common - the sensation of wind flowing through them. The grasses she paints seem to sway and ripple, stirred by invisible currents - bending, rustling, and rising again.
The artist herself describes painting as a way of tapping into the mystery of nature, where every single flower contains the universe within itself and that's why every stem, every blade of grass is painted with such tenderness and care.
