About this artwork+

The painting by Egidijus Godliauskas, titled "A Dialogue of Silence," is quite striking. It features an abstract blend of shapes and colors. You can see various patches of vivid reds, deep blues, and soft purples, alongside murkier shades of brown and black. At the top, a small area looks almost like a landscape, under a small strip of dark sky. Godliauskas seems to play with colors and forms, leaving the interpretation open to the viewer. His style here is abstract and focused on emotional expression rather than clear, defined subjects. The use of contrasting colors and the smooth blending create a sense of depth and motion. This painting invites viewers to find their own meanings and feelings in the silence it portrays. The title suggests a profound quietness, maybe a reflection on inner thoughts or an unspoken conversation between the colors themselves.
