Dmitrij Zuj is an accomplished watercolour artist, distinguished by the pivotal role drawing plays in his creative process. Painting started as a private pastime before he fully committed to it. He first experimented with pastels, but watercolour soon became his chosen medium and primary method of expression. Zuj continues to refine his approach, teaching himself and drawing on the influence of other artists and renowned international watercolourists.
Traveling throughout Lithuania and abroad continues to inspire Zuj and fuels his imagination, with each trip leaving an impression on his art. He translates the charm of the cities and landscapes he visits into emotive pieces on paper. His talent has brought his works to the collections of admirers in Italy, France, Portugal, Germany, Russia, and Poland.
