About this artwork+

The canvas seems charged with thick, expressive strokes of dark blue and black, generously layering the upper portion of the composition, creating a sense of weight and perhaps somberness. This heaviness contrasts with pops of white and pale blue that appear to be fighting for space amid the dominating darker tones. On the sides and towards the bottom, softer pink and white hues mesh together, providing a slight relief from the otherwise dense, overhanging darker colors. The strokes are bold and liberated, with each color independently claiming areas but all intertwining in a churn of emotion and texture. The overall effect is both stormy and introspective, pulling the viewer into a world where color and movement speak volumes.
