Aušra Sirutienė Oreigė is an artist who only began exploring the expressive possibilities of watercolour painting a few years ago. Since embarking on this journey, she has sought to master this subtle medium, striving to discover her own distinctive artistic voice. Aušra is especially attracted to producing small-format pieces that are rich in emotional intensity, capturing the energy and atmosphere of the moment in each work.

Her art stands out for its emphasis on botanical and natural motifs. She harnesses the transparency and spontaneous nature of watercolour to evoke the delicate vulnerability of the environment. The paints move fluidly across the paper, mirroring the organic motion of nature, while Aušra expertly finds equilibrium among the elements. She delights in layering light and colour, lending a sense of openness and weightlessness to her paintings.

Though watercolour is a relatively recent focus for Aušra, her relationship with art goes back much further. She graduated from the Department of Pedagogy at Telšiai Higher School of Art, then continued her education at Šiauliai University.
