About this artwork+
The painting presents a lively and abstract interpretation of a seascape with sails. It uses a palette of blues, oranges, yellows, and white, capturing reflections and the transient quality of light on water. The shapes are loosely defined, hinting at sailboats with their sails gently billowing in the wind. These forms are interspersed with what might be reflections in the water, blending reality with a dream-like quality. The technique is expressive; brushstrokes are visible, adding texture and movement, evoking a sense of fluidity and the ever-changing surface of the sea. The colors are vibrant yet harmoniously intertwined, conveying both calmness and a dynamic energy typical of a seaside setting.
