Certificate of authenticity

Every painting you buy in our gallery is an original work of art. With every painting we sell you receive a certificate of authenticity, which guarantees that you are buying a work by that specific artist.

Please note that buying a painting does not transfer its copyright — you do not acquire the right to use the artwork commercially, for example to copy it or produce reproductions.

30-day return guarantee

Our main goal is to help you find the one artwork that truly fits and delights you — it is an object that will decorate your home for a long time and will eventually be passed on to future generations.

Although by law works of art cannot be returned (the seller's consent is required), don't worry — if you have doubts within 30 days of the purchase date, contact us: we will take the work back and refund your money, or offer you to choose another one from our art platform!

Delivery

Delivery time: 10–14 business days. Every artwork ships insured by courier (FedEx/DHL) with a tracking number. Originals are one-off pieces and are packed with particular care. If you need the piece sooner, contact us — we can usually find a solution. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties may apply; these are borne by the recipient.

Returns

As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods — no reasons needed. Details and the model withdrawal form are in our withdrawal notice (linked in the footer). Beyond that, as a courtesy we accept returns up to 30 days after receipt — an artwork should truly delight you. Contact us and we will find a solution.

Arvydas Zdanavičius, a modern Lithuanian artist, finished his studies at the Stepas Žukas Art College in 1971 and obtained his degree from the Lithuanian Institute of Art in 1976. His academic background laid a solid groundwork for his career in visual arts, where he is known for his unique painting style.

Throughout his career, Zdanavičius has organized approximately 20 solo exhibitions—nine of which were held in Lithuania and eleven in Germany. Beyond these personal exhibitions, he has also taken part in many group shows, thereby extending his reach and artistic influence both within Lithuania and abroad.

To Zdanavičius, paintings are far more than decorative pieces or elements of interior design. He believes each painting preserves a particular moment in time and serves as a distinctive means of self-expression. His artistic method reveals a profound link between his daily life and the works he creates.

Zdanavičius primarily works in oils using the palette knife (mastichino) technique, exploring a range of genres but showing a particular affinity for cityscapes. Through his art, he expresses his perspective on life, making painting a central part of who he is both personally and professionally.

About this artwork+

The painting "Spring Landscape" by Arvydas Zdanavičius showcases a vivid and abstract depiction of nature. It uses broad strokes of white, yellow, and brown, with touches of blue and black that add depth. The style is abstract, focusing more on emotional expression than precise detail. The top part of the artwork appears like a sky brushed with smooth, creamy colors, while the bottom suggests reflections or shadows, giving a sense of water or damp ground. Zdanavičius often uses thick, visible brushstrokes, which add texture and movement to the scene. The painting emits a feeling of renewal that spring brings, but with a sense of mystery due to its abstract form. This technique allows viewers to engage imaginatively, interpreting the landscape in their own ways.
