Delivery
Delivery time: 10–14 business days. Every artwork ships insured by courier (FedEx/DHL) with a tracking number. Originals are one-off pieces and are packed with particular care. If you need the piece sooner, contact us — we can usually find a solution. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties may apply; these are borne by the recipient.
Returns
As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods — no reasons needed. Details and the model withdrawal form are in our withdrawal notice (linked in the footer). Beyond that, as a courtesy we accept returns up to 30 days after receipt — an artwork should truly delight you. Contact us and we will find a solution.
Artwork in the room
Arvydas Zdanavičius, a modern Lithuanian artist, finished his studies at the Stepas Žukas Art College in 1971 and obtained his degree from the Lithuanian Institute of Art in 1976. His academic background laid a solid groundwork for his career in visual arts, where he is known for his unique painting style.
Throughout his career, Zdanavičius has organized approximately 20 solo exhibitions—nine of which were held in Lithuania and eleven in Germany. Beyond these personal exhibitions, he has also taken part in many group shows, thereby extending his reach and artistic influence both within Lithuania and abroad.
To Zdanavičius, paintings are far more than decorative pieces or elements of interior design. He believes each painting preserves a particular moment in time and serves as a distinctive means of self-expression. His artistic method reveals a profound link between his daily life and the works he creates.
Zdanavičius primarily works in oils using the palette knife (mastichino) technique, exploring a range of genres but showing a particular affinity for cityscapes. Through his art, he expresses his perspective on life, making painting a central part of who he is both personally and professionally.
About this artwork+
The painting depicts a vibrant street scene set in an old town, characterized by its historical architecture. In the foreground, at the right, a coral-colored building with traditional windows and detailing adds a splash of warm color, contrasting deeply with the cool, shadowed tones of the street. Adjacent to it stands a monumental white tower with a pointed, slate-gray roof. Just to the left of the tower, another building with a steeply pitched red roof and a smaller, intricate tower rises prominently. These structures are illustratively aged, their textures rich and tactile against the skyline. A subtle reflection of light on the buildings suggests either the presence of water or a wet surface in the foreground, adding a luminous quality to the scene.
