About this artwork+

This painting by Alexander Mikhaylov, titled "The View from the Balcony," shows a cityscape viewed from a high vantage point. The foreground is dark, filled with lush plants. It frames a clear walkway leading towards tall buildings in the distance. A beautiful sunset fills the sky with shades of blue, orange, and pink. Mikhaylov uses a bold, impressionistic style. The brush strokes are visible and dynamic, adding a texture that gives depth to the artwork. His use of contrast, especially between the dark plants and the light path, draws the eye towards the horizon. It's a striking and evocative piece that captures a moment of serene beauty in an urban setting.
