About this artwork+

This painting, titled "Red Room" by Aistė Bugailiškytė, captures a vibrant and warm interior scene. The room is painted in a rich shade of red. It features a cozy yellow sofa, a rounded table with wooden chairs, and a small bookcase stocked neatly with books. A window lets in daylight, contrasting with the bold walls. The central table holds a vase of white flowers, adding a soft touch to the scene. Beside it, a plant brings a touch of greenery. Aistė Bugailiškytė uses bold, expressive strokes and a vivid palette to create a lively yet intimate atmosphere. Her style is somewhat impressionistic, focusing more on the play of color and light than on precise details. This style brings out the room's warmth and inviting feel.
