About this artwork+

The painting by Aistė Bugailiškytė titled "I Invite You" shows a warmly inviting scene. A small room is depicted with bold, expressive colors. The walls are a deep blue and red, with tall, peach-colored curtains framing a brightly lit window. A small chandelier hangs from the ceiling. In the room, there are several pieces of furniture. A dark wardrobe stands beside a blue chair. Across the room, a green sofa and a small, cloth-covered table hold the focus. A vase, a teapot, and a cup are neatly arranged on the table. A man sits on the sofa. He looks relaxed. His dark attire blends with the sofa, creating a thoughtful vibe. The painting uses thick brush strokes and vibrant color contrasts typical of expressionist art. Aistė Bugailiškytė’s style conveys emotion through these bold choices, inviting viewers into the intimate setting she has created.
