Agnė Sakevičiūtė is a Lithuanian artist, MO Museum educator and mindfulness teacher, currently studying Gestalt psychotherapy. Her practice is rooted in emotion and memory, turning painting into a dialogue with the inner world.
Her works are instantly recognisable through a vivid, playful, childlike aesthetic: bold colours, thick outlines, intentionally naïve forms and symbolic characters. Agnė uses a visual language that appears simple and light, yet carries deep emotional intensity.
Many paintings unfold as small narratives shaped by the “inner child” — fragments of memories, unspoken feelings and dreamlike figures. Humour often lives beside vulnerability: like a child’s drawing, but filled with adult experience.
Psychology is not an external reference in her work — it is part of the method. The inner child becomes a way to access authenticity, recognise inner states and give them form. Her paintings invite the viewer into relationship: not only to see, but to remember, to feel, and to meet oneself.
