About this artwork+

This painting shows a serene autumn scene by a lake, possibly the Siesartis, as the title suggests. There are tall trees on the left, their leaves colored in vibrant shades of yellow and orange, hinting at the season. The trees frame the view of a calm lake stretching into the distance. In the background, you can see hints of forests across the water and a silhouetted figure in a small boat, adding a touch of life to the scene. Agnė Juškaitė, the artist, uses bold, expressive strokes that give texture and a dynamic feel to the foliage and the rippling water. Her style captures the lively, fleeting nature of autumn with a palette that contrasts warm yellows against cool blues and grays. The overall effect is both inviting and tranquil, as if offering a moment to pause and enjoy the peacefulness of nature transitioning between seasons.
