I am a student at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, whose creative journey began in childhood while observing the artistic process of the folk artist Vincas Maižius. Today, I bridge the gap between traditional landscapes and a contemporary artistic language. My work is defined by abstract motifs and stylised landscapes, deeply inspired by the beauty of my native Žagarė city and the organic colors and textures of nature. To me, each painting is an attempt to capture a fleeting mood, translating it into a modern form that leaves space for the viewer's own imagination.
About this artwork+
This painting by Adelina Maižiutė is called "Summer Sunrise." It captures the beauty of dawn with a mix of warm and cool colors. The artist uses short, vertical brushstrokes. These strokes create a sense of texture and movement. The colors blend softly. You can see yellow, pink, blue, and orange. The yellow suggests the rising sun. The overall feeling is peaceful. Maižiutė's style seems inspired by Impressionism and Pointillism. She uses small, distinct dabs to build a vibrant scene. It's a simple yet effective technique. The painting feels alive with color and light.
